Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Clito Ruiz y Picasso was a Muggle artist. His works are known in both the Muggle and the Wizarding world. However, it is also possible that Severus Snape only knew about him because he was a half-blood, and therefore had more knowledge of the Muggle world than the average wizard.

" Nothing can be accomplished without solitude; I have made a kind of solitude for myself" This quote from the artist himself is how he became the center of the art world in the twentieth century. Everything was compared to Picasso and he always seemed a step ahead of many artists . The beginning of the book is somewhat of a biography of his life. Many black and white sketches and paintings and styles he developed and it is an easy read. This section is around 50 pages and then comes the beautiful color plates. On one page is the explanation of the work and then opposite of that page is a luscious full page color plate, there are some 30 color plates and they express his work in order of his life, and shows some of his most famous works. It is another book to collect on Picasso.
