Book may have only been open a few times and must have been on a book shelf for its 20 plus year life. Exactly what I expected as it included comments about my ancestor in the Civil War.

This book was a Christmas present for my husband, who had a very specific reason for wanting to read it. To him, it was more of a family history than a general history book. He is happy with it, and I am glad that I got it, though it was expensive.
