The book is superb. Hedge Fund investments are truly partnerships between Investors and Managers. This is a common theme throughout the book. The insights from some of the "big guns" is very useful for not only those looking to dip their toes into the asset class but for new and seasoned managers. I am recommending this book to my friends on the institutional investing side (Family offices, Fund of Funds and Pension fund managers), as well as friends in the early stages of launching a fund.

Some subtle and not so subtle insights can be gained by both new and seasoned managers alike. The key to success is aligning the interests of managers and the limited partners. Knowing and understanding what investors are looking for and need are essential. I read Mark Anson's "Top 10 quotes by Fund Managers" at least once a week. If I didn't know better I'd swear he was joking!!

Kudos to the authors for gathering sage advice from such high caliber people.
