Naaah A Quasi Autobiography book. I read Teen Angst by Ned Vizzini, and it’s an autobiography about how Ned grew up and how his life was played out. I have read one of his other books, It’s Kind of A Funny Story I really like this because I can connect and kind of simulate the things he does in this book because I have done most of, well not most but some of the things he has done in his life. For say, when he was in karate.

A Quasi-autobiography. A Holden Caulfield for Generation Y, Ned Vizzini is an original voice to be reckoned with, read, and enjoyed.

Ned Vizzini is the author of the award-winning young adult books It's Kind of a Funny Story, which was made into a motion picture; Be More Chill; and, of course, Teen Angst? Naaah. To tell you the truth, the only reason I picked up Ned Vizzini's book, "Teen Angst? Naah" was because it was free and I didn't have anything else to do at the Book Expo. However, as soon as I started reading it, I couldn't put it down.

A collection of thirty essays written by the author from age fifteen to seventeen shares his impressions of school, sports, cool people, boring people, friends, family, money, music, and obsessions. Original.
First of all let me start off by saying that this was a fantastic read! I was not 100% sure how the book would be set up and when I started off reading it and there was like a collection of stories about Ned's life as things would happen to him, I was a little bit apprehensive. I have read memoirs and similar books before, but none that have been set up this way, now I ask myself why other books aren't like this? I loved it.

You are invited to sort of "grow up" with Ned by living out his experiences as he really did. Being a teenage guy myself, I felt at times like he was writing about my life, haha. Nice to know other people go through similar things. It was a very personal book for him to allow to be published, so it was really like reading something special and invitation only! Such a good read, I give it 5 stars.
This book is good if you like Ned Vizzini's other books. I would recommend his book It's Kind of a Funny Story over Teen Angst. This is an easier read, as it is mostly a coming of age book. It's a lighter read than It's Kind of a Funny Story.
i love this book so much. it is really funny and worth the time for a teen to read. i had to read a book for school once so i went to the libary and picked this book just becasue it looked good. i opended it, read it, laughed and i could not put this one down. later after a week or so of bringing it back i got it again to read it becasue it was so good the first time, then i read it laughted and couldnot put it down and i wanted to keep it so bad it was over due like for a month! i love this book it deserves 5 stars!!!!
unusual book. Name really fits. I believe the author has passed away now so I will never know if this was really an autobiograhical sotry or not. It would seem it was.Now sad to read but still good.
Funny Funny and soooo true! Thank you for this BOOK!!
If you're looking for another life changing, time altering, make you look back on your life, kind of book like Its Kind Of A Funny Story, this isn't it.
It is funny and clever, and well written.
Be forewarned: links do not work because the Ned Vizzini website no longer exists, I assume because of his death.
Good book, just not what I expected
I really enjoyed reading the inner workings of a teen brain. I love that it is composed of all little essays. It's unique and I truly enjoyed it.
I absolutely LOVE Ned Vizzini. I would suggest anyone reading one of his books sometime in their life.
