In the back corner of the room she saw a chart that listed the name of every student in the class. Mrs. Ebbel was teaching geography. Everybody in the class had a map of the United States on his or her desk. Bradley’s map was different from all the others. California was above Wisconsin.

There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom is a 1987 juvenile fiction book from the author Louis Sachar, about a fifth-grade bully named Bradley whose behavior improves after intervention from a school counselor. The title comes from a point when a character, Jeff, is horribly embarrassed after accidentally entering the girls' bathroom while trying to go to the school counselor's office when a teacher gives him the wrong directions.

There's A Boy in the Girl. has been added to your Cart. Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar was a good book. It has 30 weird stories about every teacher and student in the 30th story. I like this book because it was silly and funny. In one story, this girl was the fastest drawer in the class. Her name was Bebe Gunn! This book is good for kids that don't like reading because it has short stories.

There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom. Give me a dollar or I'll spit on you. That's Bradley Chalker for you. He is the oldest child in the class. He tells enormous lies. He picks fights with girls, and the teachers say he has 'serious behaviour problems'. She thinks Bradley is sensitive and generous, and she even enjoys his far-fetched stories. Carla knows that Bradley could change, if only he weren't afraid to try. Sometimes the hardest thing in the world is believing in yourself. To read this book, upload an EPUB or FB2 file to Bookmate.

if you read the begining you say this is an average book. But the last 20 chapters you can not be human if you dont cry the slightest bit. Nobody dies. A twist ending. The main thing is to notice how much Bradly Changes. When he has to go to the barber and not school at the end and clara leaves the note dont read the not or you will cry yourself to sleep that night. If clara was not in this story I would have not cryed or liked the book. Bradley (at the end) is most likely the sweetest person ever.A boy in the girls bathroom is not the main plot (a girl also goes in the boys bathroom but that is a miner detale to the story). My favorite part is when Bradley doesnt fight jeff and realizes peace is the best way to go. Get at least 20 tissues at the last 5 chapters. Later in life if you need to cry to somehow acomplish something remmber this book. Bradley sister is my least favorite character because she makes fun of bradley for everything about him she doesnt like. This book i say is for 6+

This is a good book because most books are about kids who are bullied but this book is about a bully except he learns not to be a bully.I think that it's an awesome book and you should read it.
THE END of review thingie.

My third grade teacher read this book to the class. Everyday she read one chapter. It was sooo memorable to me...that I just had to read ot to my 7 year old son. I absolutely love this book. It teaches soo many beautiful things, from love, to kindness, to friendship. I will keep this boom o my kindle forever and ever!!

Appropriate for K - 7th grade, but entertaining for all. More mature and thoughtful than Sachar's Sideways Stories (no magic/fantasy here), but still funny and clever at every turn. It's drama peppered with comedy. Very glad I took a chance on it for my kids.
Inerrace
One of my favorite books. I appreciate it so much more as an adult, parent, and teacher.

When I was a kid in school I used to love this book. This book was very popular in school, almost every time you wanted to re-read this book you had to wait because it was almost always checked out.

Although I wish we could have seen more of the other characters from Camp Green Lake, I'm glad to have the chance to visit with a few. I was considering reading this with my students after finishing Holes, but I decided against it. Although it was an enjoyable read, there is less educational value for sure.
My 10 year old son chose this to read over the summer for school and I decided to read it as well. Fantastic book! I read 24 chapters last night and couldn't put it down! Unfortunately, I HAD to go to sleep and get up early. :( BUT, I finished it today! :) This is an excellent book, very well written and my son loves it too! This book is a winner!
