The Littlest Dinosaur - Michael Foreman. This is a great book to read to children. This book is about a little dinosaur who is very small, but in the end, has a big heart. This would be good for the children to read because it teaches them how to be sensitive to other people who are not like they are. This would be a good book when talking about friends. The book could be in the classroom all year round or brought out at a specific time. MarinaGo to Marina's profile, opens in a new window. The biggest and the smallest dinosaur became best buddies!!! We're loving this story. Reading it almost every night...sometimes back-to-back. Very sweet story with a great message. Great illustrations. Purchased the Greatest Adventure as well and although the story is fun with those amazing illustrations, my son was a little unsettled when the littlest dinosaur was lost in the dark woods. The illustration was done in a way that scared him a little, but after we read through it more and more....he was soon over it. Both are family favorites.

My mother in law got this book for our first son. We now have two more boys and it is 7 years later and the boys are still reading and loving The littlest Dinosaur. Considering buying another one because ours is so old and worn out.
