Robin Lawrie is a Scottish-born artist and children's book illustrator. Throughout his career, he has illustrated books by CS Lewis, Prue Leith and Enid Blyton. He has written and illustrated several children's books of his own about building motorways, car mechanics, building kit cars, rally drivers, and mountain biking. His early work included books that sought to introduce children to the mechanical processes behind vehicles such as airplanes and cars.
John Madansky, known as Johnny Blitz, is a punk rock drummer from Cleveland, Ohio, best known as being a member of the bands Dead Boys and Rocket From The Tombs. With the Dead Boys he helped pioneer the punk rock sound, look and attitude of the mid to late 1970s. Johnny Blitz met Cheetah Chrome through a classified ad, and together went on to play small gigs in short-lived bands. In early 1975, Blitz and Chrome were recruited to Rocket From the Tombs. The band broke up within the year.

Lawrie Brown is a photofrapher, "mainly concerned with modifying the physical surface of the print and creating new relationships between the surface and the image. Brown lived in California where she has held several teaching positions in photography. She was the coordinator of the Photo Department at Cabrillo College in Aptos. Previously she taught at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills (1979), at the Extension Programs of the University of California in Santa Cruz (1977) and of San Jose State University (1976-79), at the Friends of Photography Workshops in Carmel (1976; 1979) and at Merced College in Merced (1974-75).
