Lovely story about one young, unique Corgi in the court of Queen Elizabeth. Dick-Smith has the enchanting power to narrate animal stories in a simple, funny way that any child or adult would love.
Titus, is the youngest pup in the latest litter, bright, can sit on his rump and beg for cookies and at a very young age barked to alert that he needed to do his "business" outside the palace. He managed to convinced grumpy Prince Philip, that, he indeed, was a royal pet when he saved the Queen's jewel from being stolen, and then the palace from burning. I give 5 barks for fun

I was honored to care for and live with a wonderful Corgi for nearly 16 years. All things Corgi interest me! This book was available at my local library in hardback. I loved the story and the cute illustrations! This author also wrote "Babe" about the sheep-herding pig! Well, I ordered "Titus Rules" as a Christmas gift to myself but ended up with the paperback version. Since I've seen and read the book twice in two formats, I can say the story is great, just super, but the better format is hardback. Pages are a cleaner white and the book feels better. Any recommendations on other Corgi material are appreciated!

I read this book aloud to my 6 year old and 3 year old daughters. They enjoyed it for the most part. It taught them about spoiled children and how NOT to act. Hopefully we don't find that they start acting like the little princess. So far so good!

Light, fun reading for little ones. I'd say boys would enjoy this story, too.

In a world where everybody seems to be like prince and princesses, this story was great to read with my 7 and 9 year old daughters before bedtime. I thought it might be boring for my 9 year old, but she loves animals and loved the story. Lady Lollipop is a wonderful story of how a spoiled princess learns how to be patient and thoughtful as she befriends her new pet pig and the trainer that accompanies her. Cute. My 7 year old is now a Dick King-Smith fan!

This is a lovely book with some terrific life lessons. I bought for our 2 year old granddaughter but will give it to the 6 year old one, since it is more age appropriate for an older girl.

He is a great author! I read this to my 3rd graders every year. We laugh at all the funny situations and at the queen and the functioning of the palace. They love the ending! It has inspired several of them to read more of his books.
The product was as shown. After I placed my order, it appeared that I had ordered the book, Lady Lollipop not the play. On the order form it appeared as the book but when I put it in my cart, it was the play. When it arrived I was happy to see it was the play. It took longer than expected to receive, so I was unable to use it for the purpose that I ordered it for.
