This book was written very well. If you've read other books about Mary Slessor, you'll enjoy this one because it tells about a specific life experience. I found it suspenseful and intriguing. It was thought provoking in that it opens your eyes to the danger of not gaining a full understanding of something you're told and just going off with half of the information to make a decision. I would recommend this book to any age group. It has a good cast of characters that are well developed in the story. I came away feeling as if I had been part of the story.
