Danger Colors, with a bright orange-and-black snake coiled on the cover, has great visual appeal but the concepts are less well developed. The general statement ""The colors red, yellow and black also warn of hidden poisons"" is followed by ""Blues, greens, and blacks sometimes signal danger. Having eliminated all of the above, it seems that hardly anything is safe. Both are visually striking, but the brief captionlike texts contribute little, and additional facts, presented in the back, lack scientific names.
