The poem might work well read to oneself, but as this is a picture book, it's probably meant to be read aloud, and the repeated phrases sound very awkward when read and left my listeners quite restless! The pictures are busy and detailed, and fun to look at, but to me are too cartoony--I don't think Baby Jesus has a look suiting the King of Kings, as the poem and Bible call him--He looks too much like any other cheery outgoing baby.
