All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this. One day when she was two years old she was playing in a garden, and she plucked another flower and ran with it to her mother.

Just a heads up to let people know that I purchased this edition of Peter Pan by "LeClue" publishers and the formatting of the book was terrible! Hard carriage returns (I believe) causing constant breaks in the text at all font sizes - even the smallest. I've got to assume that all of their books are the same way until proven
otherwise. So buyer beware of "LeClue" Kindle editions.

I always loved the movie, which I admit I saw before reading the book. The book, however, blew me away. This the ultimate best book I've ever read. Truly a classic, this story should be read by everyone. Peter is a fantastic hero, Hook a sinister villian, and the Lost Boys an adorable bunch! J.M. Barrie uses a whimsical style that's intruiging and enjoyable. Peter Pan will never grow old, and neither will his tale!
