The author is a treasure trove of biblical knowledge. And a very clear, logical thinker, too. After reading this book you will be asking yourself how you missed all the hints hidden in the Bible that lead A. W. PInk to his conclusions. He definitely found buried treasure hidden in the Bible and wrote a book in order to share it with us. Read this book and you'll be amazed with what you find. Don't be put off by the many sentences that don't seem to make sense. It's as though someone was reading the book to the computer and a the computer was confused about the word so it chose the closest word to the sound it heard. I was able to make sense of it and I'm sure you will be able to, too.

Thanks to A.W. Pink's exposition of the parables, the gospel is less hidden to those of us with a desire to know the word of God. Pink explains patiently and with abundant context and scriptural backing to support his theses concerning the true meaning of parables that we Bible students have read many times in private, yet misunderstood. Pink helps us to see the depth and richness of the parables that Jesus constructed for our edification. The greatest thing about the parables is that we know not to dispute about whether or not they are factual. They are parables! They are clearly types that the author (Jesus) uses to teach us. The hypothetical persons and circumstances are used for maximum effect to teach concepts that we had not appreciated before the lesson that is applicable in our lives. Pink in this title brings us an excellent interpretation in a very clear and concise work.

Of course this is just one of many Faithful Classics penned by A.W. Pink and readers here will find that several others are equally rewarding, but this is one of the best of his works that I have read so far.

At this price all I can say in conclusion is, "Enjoy!"

Arthur Pink had, as another reviewer described, a "staggering" insight into Yahweh's word. Read this and find out what the REAL message behind each of the presented parables is -- not at all what the usual presentation is! Another thrilling bonus of this work: you will discover further evidence that the Word of the bible is God-breathed, and certainly NOT the work of man. I cannot get enough Pink!

I see where another reviewer has labeled Arthur Pink a bigot. Nothing in this book suggests that Arthur Pink is a bigot! He presents a fantastic coherent interpretation of the parables using only the bible as his guide. If catholics find it offensive, perhaps that is why the catholic church banned the bible (under penalty of death) throughout the dark ages. I was a catholic until someone literally stuck a bible in my chest and told me to "read!".

Arthur Pink reveals more than just an interpretation of the parables of Matthew. He also insightfully sees in them an explanation for the overall understanding of some of the biblical themes in relation to the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. He gives a lot of food for thought as he talks about God's dispensational throne upon earth compared to his eternal throne; and about the real meaning of many symbolic words in the Bible such as the 'field' which means the 'world' and the 'birds' symbolise Satan and his agents, even though in some passages the 'eagle' and the 'dove' represent that which is good; and Arthur Pink explains this in great detail. He sees these seven parables in Matthew as a revelation of the complete outline of the history of the Christian world; and of human accountability to God; and of the world controlled by Satan our enemy. This is really a new revelation which is not in the Old Testament. What is really astounding about Arthur pink's book is that he reveals that most of the huge story of Christianity is contained within the few words in Matthew; which really shows how Jesus Christ does not waste any words; he reveals an enormous amount of information in all of his succinct parables. It is obviously impossible to translate the symbolic words within the parables into other languages as they are not part of any real grammar; they are symbols embedded in a parabolic story which can easily be lost in the process of translation; which is why Arthur Pink's book is so valuable.

God gave AW Pink an amazing insight to the scriptures, and an ability to make that insight clear. His teaching is truthful, convicting and glorifying to the Lord. If you want to know what the parables of Matthew 13 really mean, and not what the modern "church" wants it to mean, this is the book!

A.W. Pink is an all time high Bible scholar. He can reveal the depth of Christ's words in a way that is true to biblical interpretation and opens the secrets of Matthew 13 parables. I would highly recommend this book to any person that wants to know more revelation of Jesus. I cannot say enough good about this book. Thank you Amazon for making many of Pink's writings available at such a reasonable price.

This book clears up many questions on the future. We all think about what led ahead but know what God Himself tells us. Peace all come to those ho know what God says and believed. A good study of this book is a must read for those who really Care.
