In A Life God Rewards, I want to show you how the harvest you produce will directly impact your experience in eternity-and how that truth can change your life today for the better. I'll admit that on a subject like eternity, we must proceed thoughtfully and humbly. We're like tadpoles swapping stories of blue whales. Excellent read; I highly recommend it to any believer.

A Life God Rewards book. Bruce Wilkinson ("A Life God Rewards", p. 46). This book helps us to see that doing good works is apart of the will of God. It is not necessary for salvation, but God does have a reward system for our works, whether they be good or evil. God wants us to do works while we are on earth and store up treasure in heaven.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book to my seven year old.

The first two chapters, I wondered if the book was going to go anywhere biblically (it is in story form). As we entered into the 3rd chapter the book started going places.

It is a small book that might typically be read in two or three evenings, however when we started to get into the book I felt it best to read the whole thing in one evening, so that all of the story would be together and he wouldn't forget anything we read or miss the point.

This book is a good tool for children. It teaches kids that sitting around watching TV is going to be time wasted when we get to heaven (even though it is also time wasted on earth) It teaches that our attitudes are everything.

It teaches that all of the teachings in the bible come together to help us earn rewards in heaven. In order to receive our rewards we need to be forgiving, loving, helpful, etc.

It teaches that even the smallest thing we do today for good will withstand the test in heaven when we stand before Christ to be judged. And when all of the things we did that don't matter burn up (like tv) the good things will be all that remains.

We enjoyed this book. My 7 year old understood and remained captivated throught the entire book. This book did have a section in the back for parents and I feel that after reading it was a great opportunity for discussion.

Overall after the first two chapters we were VERY pleased and I would highly recommend this book. I already have plans to lend our copy out!
Cannot say enough good about this book. In a relatively small book, the author awakens one to what we are missing as we are spending our one life somewhat casually. Without guilting one, he drives home very simply the profound truth that what we are doing with our life now will determine HOW we spend all of eternity. Thank you Bruce. Not new truths, but too easily overlooked!
This journal goes along with the bible study wonderfully.
This journal is a nice addition to the study of the book and to go along with the devotional but the same can be accomplished with any journal. I purchased these journals plus books and devotionals to give as Christmas gifts to friends and they all loved them.
A companion piece to the wonderful and enlightening "A Life God Rewards", which is the third book in Bruce Wilkinson's "BreakThrough Series", this is a lovely, good quality journal, and will serve you well as you write down your thoughts and prayers.
It has lined paper, and every other page has an inspiring quote, usually from the Bible or "A Life God Rewards". The color tone on three small photographs and the edging of each page is a delicate slate blue, and the spine of the book is bound in navy blue cloth, helping to make it sturdy.
Someone once commented, "What would Jesus do ? Would He spend this kind of money on a book of blank pages, or buy some paper for a fraction of the price ?".
I believe Jesus would think it was money well spent. Journaling can be a marvelous tool for spiritual awakening, and if you do it in a book that will last through the years, you will be able to look back on your progress, see how your goals change with time and what prayers have been answered, as you document your walk with the Lord.
To quote from the back cover, "these pages invite you to remember God's promises and record your journey as you reach for a life He will richly reward".
