I ordered a box of these bibles as they are fairly nice, but at the same time affordable, so I got them to give to people. There are pros and cons to this particular edition.

Pros:
1) Price is right. Reasonable Bible at a reasonable price
2) It is the New King James. It retains the grand literary style of the King James, but is more readable. In my mind, the best version of the Bible.
3) Well made.

Cons:
1) If you are over 30 the print might be too small for you to easily read. This is a young person's Bible, and I find the text too small to read.
2) The cover is plastic type material. I read my Bible daily, and travel with it, so for my personal Bible, I must have a genuine leather cover.

Overall, a good Bible to have around to give to people when the opportunity arises.

I just bought this bible for myself and I really like it. The cover is beautiful, with the design engraved, not just printed on. The paper is nice, thin and edged in silver. It comes with a light silver bookmark.
I like that it comes with a large concordance, detailed maps, and a summary of each book along with an explanation of the title of each book in the original language.
Center margins cite similar passages and alternate translations of specific words and phrases. Words of Christ are in red.
The font reminds me of an older style bible's font.
The bible was a little bigger than I expected - It's pretty tall but not very thick.

As mentioned in other reviews, this Bible is the right size. The flexible cover seems durable and I expect many years wear, unless our Lord and Savior returns before. This Bible is a great travel Bible and a great Bible to use for mentor and accountability sessions. If you're looking for a pulpit Bible, you may look for another. The NKJV is a great version for those who want to stay true to the KJV while having a Bible that is easier to read. This version is especially good for a young Christian and equally beneficial for someone who has been around the cross for a while. In His Service and for His Glory!!!

The wear and tear of a Bible really depends on how much you actually use/read it. So, I'd say mine has held up quite well =] The reason I liked it was because it's unique and I've never seen anyone with it. It's great quality in my opinion. The edges of mine on the inside cover are starting to peel up a tad bit at the corners but that's mainly because I mess with it too much.

I really like this bible, it is well put together. I would like it if with the listing it not only showed a pic of the cover, but also a pic of one of the interior pages. With bibles, you never really know what your getting, "reference bible" doesn't say much. For all who are looking, this bible has a center column on each page with chapter & verse references for many versus throughout. I was actually looking for something a little different, but i do like what i got.

I really like this one. It looks great, and it has the reference and maps.

I was skeptical of buying a study Bible for the Fire, but I have been overwhelmingly pleased with this purchase. Links are highlighted in blue, so it is just one click to take you to commentary or cross references. With the Fire, hold on a word or phrase, and a menu pops up so that I can highlight it or make a note. I take it to church with me and take notes during the sermon. Two things I don't like are that the search feature is not very useful and takes forever, and there is not a way to go directly to a verse without first going to the table of contents, then to the chapter, then finding the verse. It doesn't take all that long, it's just annoying. Still the pros out weight the cons in my opinion.
