HIDDEN TEACHINGS of the Bible That Explain Manifestation, Consciousness & Oneness (POWERFUL Info!)

I found Jacobson’s He Loves Me in the resource list in the The Shack. Loves Me!' is a book that explains the love of God better than any I've read.

I found Jacobson’s He Loves Me in the resource list in the The Shack. I was moved by The Shack and yearned for the reality of such a loving God and Trinitarian relationship. He Loves Me, in conjunction with The Shack Revisited, provides the theological underpinnings for the reality of such a relationship. It addresses the problem of guilt in our lives and shows scripturally how that God's plan isn't for us to grovel in failure, but to recognize the truth that it's the love of God that leads us to repentance.

So, why is it that a book about God's love, or 'the Father's affection" is only digestible in small pieces for a girl who has grown up in church her whole life and has followed Jesus since she was a little girl? Well, If you're are like me, then here are the reasons why it might take some time to read this book

Perhaps the love of our heavenly Father causes him to care enough to guide us away from the things that harm us, and shows us the goodness of God's presence in our lives to make us complete. Rather than watching me be me, maybe God's love desires to complete me. And you. `

I don't know how I missed it for the last 30 years. Did I not hear it? Was it not preached? I don't know, but this book have been revolutionary to me. I grew up in the church, VBS, Christian school, Christian college, Christian summer camps - and I don't think I ever really personalized that God loved me. Furthermore, I definitely did not view that as my motivation for good works. This book is incredible. I've highlighted it heavily and will be referring to it for years. I highly, highly recommend it.

This is a message that isn't often spoken of in evangelical circles today. For the past six years, God has lead me in the direction this book speaks about. To know that I am loved and in that I'm being set free to love others. Thankfully he has placed people around me that help show this to me. The best part about Wayne is that he never gives you the answers to "how to live the Christian life." His answer is always talk to God. Most writers can identify problems but then give answers as to how we should solve them. I've found that God doesn't fit in a box and isn't a methodology. He isn't so concerned with the end result as he is the journey. That is what you'll find in this book.

This is just an excellent book. Jacobsen outlines how the Lord loves each of us and His desire is for us to enjoy an intimate, hand-in-hand, walk together. What is especially good about this book is that Jacobsen doesn't give you 'pat' answers or preach some 'recipe theology' but points the reader to God.

"Simply ask Him to show you the depth of His love for you and a revelation of what the Cross of Jesus accomplished."
And this:

"The quest here is not to get God to act toward you, but for you to begin to recognise how He already is."

Broken down into 4 sections all containing approximately 6 shortish chapters, Jacobsen encourages us to recognise that we are God's beloved and once we come to truly believe this in both our heart and mind, His love can and will transform us to lead the lives He created us to live and that bring Him glory.

This is the relationship I want and the life I want to live.

Written in a very conversational style with plenty of good explorations of Bible passages, this is an enjoyable and inspiring book to read that will help you to better understand the depth of God's love for you and increase your thirst for more of Him.

I began this book because of my reluctance to receive the love of the Father. This reluctance has been formed by my past as well as fear in the present. Wayne Jacobsen has given my mind much to think about and my heart much to hold close. If you have ever doubted the Father's love for you, this book may help you learn to receive it once and for all.

I don’t write many reviews as I have to feel strongly to do so. I found Jacobson’s “He Loves Me” in the resource list in the “The Shack”. I was moved by The Shack and yearned for the reality of such a loving God and Trinitarian relationship. He Loves Me, in conjunction with The Shack Revisited, provides the theological underpinnings for the reality of such a relationship. From these works, I was impressed by God that (1) people are by nature separated from seeing God as He is, (2) After 40 years of serious Christianity, I didn’t perceive God as He is, (3) I made up the God and religion I had been worshipping, (4) there was absoliutely nothing I could do to bridge the perceptual & experiential reality gap between God and myself. I was in utter despair that there was NOTHING I could do to be good enough to accurately perceive God. Then the passage was illuminated that “nobody understands the Father but the Son, and whosoever the Son reveals”. I prayed to Jesus to show me the Father and I let go of the religion and God of my own creation. Jesus did indeed reveal the Father and established His Presence within me which has never left a single day since. In an instant, 40 years of a performance walk was shifted into an intimate, personal relational walk of abiding in Him. This book was used by God to create a watershed moment in my spiritual walk. I think the message is life and death in importance.

He Loves Me!: Learning to Live in the Father's Affection by Wayne Jacobsen

I've read many books on the love of God, but none explain it better than this book. So many books on God's love turn the Lord into a `cream-puff' god who winks at sin and skips merrily along while leaving us in our state. One popular preacher put it, "God just enjoys watching you be you."

What if `you' are not happy with who you are? What if there are destructive behaviors and damaged emotions? Is it truly love to sing Kum ba yah to someone as they slide down the road of destruction?

Perhaps the love of our heavenly Father causes him to care enough to guide us away from the things that harm us, and shows us the goodness of God's presence in our lives to make us complete. Rather than watching me be me, maybe God's love desires to complete me. And you.

`He Loves Me!' is a book that explains the love of God better than any I've read. It addresses the problem of guilt in our lives and shows scripturally how that God's plan isn't for us to grovel in failure, but to recognize the truth that it's the love of God that leads us to repentance.

Most people approach spiritual matters as though God were an angry judge, waiting to strike us for our failures. True service is not doing things out of guilt or fear, but the overflow of the heart. The desire to serve is the natural product of a healthy relationship with God.

Every Christian should read this book. I can't recommend it highly enough!

After a friend recommended it, I ignored it for a while thinking exactly what Jacobsen says in the first paragraphs, "Well, of course God loves me. It's the most well known doctrine in the Bible." After reading it and finding a greater understanding of how little thought I've actually given to the fact of God's love for me, I will never be the same." Now, I hope to build on this understanding for the remainder of my life. Please read this wonderful book!
