I really enjoyed reading "Through My Eyes" by Tim Tebow. I have had much respect and admiration for Tim Tebow for several years, being a Christian myself, and seeing how he has always been unafraid to tell others about his faith, regardless of the criticism from others. He is a man who loves God, lives out his faith without fear, and plays hard because of the people who depend on him to give 110 percent!

Through My Eyes book.

Through My Eyes book. Former University of Florida star quarterback, 2010 first-round. If, however, you dislike Tim Tebow or the faith he espouses as his own, you will hate this book and should not waste your time reading it. As for me, I enjoyed it very much; it gave my son and I something to do together, and the principles of love of family, dedicated work toward a dream, and respect and love for others are themes that I want my son to emulate - even if it is a former Florida Gator who is exhibiting them more.

Through My Eyes - Tim Tebow. He was close to all the children in the Tebow family, probably in no small part because he’d never been married and therefore never had children of his own. Tim Tebow with Nathan Whitaker. To all those who have been told that they couldn’t achieve their dreams. As a family, we children spent a great deal of time with him, including almost every Saturday morning. A partial explanation for spending Saturday mornings at Uncle Dick’s might be the fact that he owned a television and we didn’t.

I really enjoyed reading "Through My Eyes" by Tim Tebow. I have had much respect and admiration for Tim Tebow for several years, being a Christian myself, and seeing how he has always been unafraid to tell others about his faith, regardless of the criticism from others. It is good to see how he has handled himself, on and off the field, how he has such a heart to help those who cannot help themselves, and how he uses his voice to encourage others. I've also purchased and read his latest book "Shaken". I've passed both these books on to my 13 year old great nephew, who I hope will be as fearless and outspoken about his faith in Jesus Christ!!

Tim Tebow has an amazing story. His life exemplifies the verse from Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." What he was able to accomplish at such an early age is truly extraordinary. He is not only persevering and determined, but compassionate and understanding. This book chronicles the fruition of his dream to play as a quarterback for the NFL and the genesis of the Tim Tebow Foundation. He shares the wins and losses of his college and early professional career with transparency and honesty. In John 1:23, John the Evangelist quoted John the Baptist who famously said, "I am the voice of one calling out from the wilderness.." John the Baptist then quoted Isaiah and told the people of Jesus' day to, "prepare a way for the LORD." John the Baptist used his public platform to tell people Jesus was Messiah. A lot of young people are confused about pursuing their dreams and remaining faithful to their commitment to God. Tebow has allowed people to see there is not only freedom, but also a responsibility to both.

First off, I very rarely give a book 5 stars,
it is not easy to get to that level, as where
do you go from 5, but down. Second, I am part
of the GATOR NATION and ALL their sports
programs, swimming, tennis, soccer most of all.
Now then, this book takes us from Tim Tebow's early
life, up to his first NFL year. For those that don't
know it, Tebow was almost not with us, his parents
were told of the danger he was causing his Mother
during pregnancy and that maybe an abortion should be
considered. He has fought every day of his life,
with the help of God and the teachings of his Parents.
He has shown that you can be a Christian and still be
a Warrior and knock people over and be a WINNER. The
thing people need to remember about Tim Tebow is, what
you see, is what you get. He does not put on a "false
PC" face, he is what he is. And NO ONE will ever change
that. Great book for young people as he is a Great Role
Model.

Tebow has always amazed me, whether it's his skills on the field, or his kindness off of it. It's been fun reading through the book - You get to know Tim from the first to the last page, and I have to say, my opinion on him has only gotten better.

The book covers Tebow's birth in the Philippines, his childhood, and his high school, college, and NFL football experience; but it mostly focuses on his years as a Gator in Florida. The only con to the book is this:

Sometimes whole chapters of the book are taken up by college games, and how they went. If you're not a football fan, just a fair warning, you may have some trouble reading through it. And sometimes it gets a little repetitive, too.

All in all, this is one of the better books I've read, and it's good to know that there's another God fearing man out there, doing the job that the Lord set out for him. I give this book a 5/5. GB2!

With all the speculations and "opinions" of sports fans and sports writers, Tim Tebow takes you through his life literally. "Through My Eyes", takes you through his life and how he came to love the game of football. You will see his work ethics, discipline and his faith in different areas of his life. He is a man who loves God, lives out his faith without fear, and plays hard because of the people who depend on him to give 110 percent! Given the chance, he shows you what he does to get there. Through My Eyes is a great way to know the man whom half of the football nation hates and loves. I grew to respect this man's determination to acknowledge his failures and his ability to rise above his limitations. We can all learn how to be more disciplined in our lives and not be afraid. His faith is a true example of what it means to be a Christian, and not what is portrayed by other "professing" athletes. I do warn all readers, that unless you are a huge football junkie this book may not be for you as he speaks in football terms and replays all his college highlights verbatim. Otherwise, it is a very good read!
