This is the best one volume systematic theology currently available that is written from a Wesleyan-Arminian point of view. Dunning is informed and creative and faithful in this thinking. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed for my studies

Very heavy material. Very wordy, but very thorough and well written. Not an introductory theology book. I needed another text that was a little simpler to understand to help clarify the writings in this book. However, this is a book that I will turn to again and again throughout my ministry, invaluable resource, but will understand it more and more as I go.

Dunning does a great job in this book. However you will find that as usual he uses 100 words to say what 10 could. Truthfully you could read the first two pages and the last two pages of the chapter and get gist of what he's trying to say. Overall though I do love the book.

I purchased this book to use in a class and have found it to be an excellant source of information on living a holiness life style.

This book was way too over my head for a first Systematic Theology class. Only bought it because it was required. Also, there are hints of open theology which I'm not a fan of.
Mr.Death
Rambling on and on, Dunning conceals more then he reveals. The theology is accurate to the Wesleyan tradition, but difficult to read.
The book came in a timely manner. It was new.
