Ask science how to project a ray of electromagnetic energy through space and send us a photo from the surface of Mars or Triton, and it will quickly give us the answer. Inquire how the human genome is organized, or what is the nature of endorphins and how they affect our brain cells, and it will not hesitate to answer. But if we ask it how to solve the worst problems of the age, it will have to say: Sorry-that’s not my area. This is because the worst problems of the age are not scientific but moral ones.

On May 7, 2006, people of faith everywhere celebrated the first annual Ten Commandments Day. "The Ten Commandments are the heart of all moral code and must be restored to the heart of our society," states Ron Wexler, founder and CEO of the Ten Commandments Commission. "[This day] is truly going to be a coast-to-coast celebration of our nation's reverence for God," says "Blackie" Gonzalez, the new chair of this nationwide grassroots coalition.

Because of this, the Hope channel and the Review and Herald have released the Ten Commandments - What if we did it God's Way, by Loron Wade. This book is to the point. In fact, I purchased four more of this book to share it. The author, Loron Wade explained in detail about each commandment clearly. I recommend everyone to read this book, then share it.

I usually don't take time out to write reviews but after reading this book I said to myself that it could not go un-noticed.
I don't think we really know what life is really about until we encounter a close relationship with Jesus. To know Him is to trully live life. With that being said another perspective is that we will never know how to live life properly until we learn to follow God's 10 Commandments. In this book the author breaks down each and every commandment and applies everyday life happenings to each one of them so that we can understand better what God is telling us to do and for that matter what not to do.
Once you start to understand the 10 commandments you will find out that you need to reach out to Jesus. Because it says in the bible that the only way to God is through Him. This passage is found in John 14:6
--Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.--
So once we start to follow His laws we will want to one day see Him but the only way is through Jesus. Everything just intertwines so one truth is the backbone of the other.
I definitely recomment reading this book before you start drawing your own conclusion as to what life has to be all about. The only logic to all of it is in God's word but the 10 Laws is the best place to start.
