This is an overall outstanding collection of an outstanding series, nice binding and paper quality. The only downside of this edition is it's missing the Marvel Zombies: Dead Days mini-series which is only a couple issues but it's enough to make this omnibus slightly lacking in my opinion. For those issues consider picking up the "ultimate collection" edition of trade paperbacks, they offer more issues at a much cheaper price. While this omnibus does contains good binding and paper quality, in the typical marvel format it's big to the point of being slightly unwieldy. I'd only recommend this book to people who buy and collect large format OHCs like myself, the series itself gets progressively worse after the first 2 numbered entries, they quickly become outlandish escapades with C and D list Marvel characters, some of the later stories are fun at times while others are quite lame, this book is a real mixed bag. It starts off really strong and quickly sucks you in but becomes watered down quickly and suffered too many creative changes. Still, if you can find this Omnibus on the cheap I'd definitely consider picking it up if you're into grim and gritty Marvel omnibi,

I gave this 5 stars even technically it is 4.75 stars. The best part of this ominibus is it is a complete collection of the Marvel Zombies story line. This Omnibus includes:

Marvel Zombies: Dead days
Marvel Apes: Prime eight
Marvel Zombies: Evil Evolution
Ultimate Fantastic Four 21 - 23
Marvel Zombies 1 #1 - #5
Ultimate Fantastic Four 30 - 32
Black Panther 28 - 30
Marvel Zombies 2 #1 - #5
Marvel Zombies Return #1 - #5
Marvel Zombies 3 #1 - #4
Marvel Zombies 4 #1 - #4
Marvel Zombies 5 #1 - #5
Marvel Zombies Supreme #1 - #5

I really enjoyed the series up to Marvel Zombies 3. That's when the series transitioned to more like Mid Night Sons with Hellstrom, Morbius and A.R.M.O.R. My favorites are Marvel Zombies 1 and 2 written by Robert Kirkman. One of the best sequence is when Spider-Man ate MJ and Aunt May! Up to and including Marvel Zombies Return, the canon is mostly consistent but starting with Marvel Zombies 3, inconsistencies pop up. One example the existence of Zombie Kingpin's organization in Earth-Z when in previous series, the superhero Zombies eat everyone on Earth-Z before going space.

Overall, I totally recommend this to anyone who is a fan of zombies. One of the best Marvel Omnibuses available.

As a 30-something kid - if there are two things I can't enough of its zombies and superheroes. I've seen the Marvel Zombies series before, but I didn't realize it was such a large story and this book has all of it. The book weighs a ton and lists for $125 so the price you get on Amazon is a deal. The book is a bit gory and NOT for children- I won't let mine so much as look at it.

The initial story and even the following series' are very well written and defined and continuous. The fact that the zombies retain their personas was a very cool twist to the story and allowed you to stay connected to your favorite heroes. That is really the defining characteristic of the story and what makes it unique as a comic. The wrap-up of the main story arc was just awesome and seamless.

For the most part the art on the titles is exceptional. With a big omnibus like this, there are one or two issues in tome that aren't up to par, but it doesn't hurt the story.

This book would have received a 5 star rating but the last quarter of the book really loses its way. Maybe there are too many titles from too many authors compiled here, but it is the all content of the series. Inconsistencies start to crop up on who can become a zombie, Howard the Duck appears, and the story just drags on. The covers are explained by the artist up until about the halfway point - which felt like someone gave up on the book!

Overall, the book is very entertaining and has so many characters and twists in it that you could go back and enjoy it again - after you let all your friends borrow it.

I love that all the Marvel Zombies story lines are in one book! If you haven't read any of the stories, keep in mind that the time lines for each story are not in chronological order. They sometimes are happening at the same time! Also it gets kind of confusing with all the parallel dimension travelling so you just have to figure out the timeline when moving on to the next story. I find it interesting to see the different drawings from different artists (basically from different comic titles) meshing in one book to stay true to the story line. All in all, this is what I expected it to be. The book itself is held together pretty good for being so big and heavy. If you are a Marvel Zombies fan, you'd appreciate the gesture it was to compile all the stories in one book. Great collector's item!

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He liked it a lot. It's huge and you get a big bang for your buck. He did state that about 2/3 of the way through the anthology it seemed like the main story was done and everything after seemed like little side stories which he didn't enjoy as much. There seemed to be more than a few stories he wasn't as fond of, but there are so many comic books in here that that reaction was kind of expected. Overall he was very excited about reading this and got through the whole book in a week.

is not what i was expecting but i gave it a try. the stories are some what good but i dont have a sense of fear or emotion for the thing that happened in most of the stories. I will recommend it if you like zombies but if you dont than get some of the books by them self and is a really heavy book. I think is a must own by any fans of marvel zombies.

Marvel superheroes are zombies with super powers. I think thats enough. Crazy Story, with a kinda Steven King Ending (Dark Tower).
