I'd enjoyed the first ten of this series. A good story, compelling characters, nifty fight scenes, and some very cute fanservice. The unusual vibe from a team of Korean illustrators and authors trying to build a Japanese manga feel was kind of unusual, too.

Since then, there's been a frequent expansion of Keita's harem, a widening of Kuro's story from simply inter-dimensional to a millennia-spanning connection with the origin of life on Earth and god-like beings. The artwork is still beautiful, at this point the story has gotten *too big*. It's gotten this way even over the last four or five books, but this book only briefly returns to Keita. It started with a very good story, but this hyper-exaggerated backstory is boring me to tears.

I won't be buying any more in this series. The artwork is still great, and if you've enjoyed the direction the book has been going you'll enjoy this too, but it's not to my tastes.

I liked this book and story. There is a little bit of everything for just about everyone. You have a light story working with a story with depth (more to it). The art is very good and I ordered the other books in the series.
