I was introduced to Kum Nye during a 10-day silent retreat. It was incredible for relaxing the muscles and enhancing body sensations. I bought this book to learn more. It is terrible. The pictures are done well and it is a nice presentation, but it does not get to the heart of Kum Nye. This book is similar to conventional Hatha Yoga. I was disappointed.

I loved reading this book. Every one of the books that the Dalai Lama writes is a book that every person on earth should read. They should read it and practice the ideas, concepts, practices, and the overall ideas that are written in this marvelous book.

This book helped me feel my best at a time that I was not even aware that I could deserve it. Times were not easy and the people around me were not on my wavelength. The exercises when done for 1 hour 5 nights a week activated this incredible power within at a time and that was in just one week. Tarthang Tulku has a good writing style that primarily helps one's feeling side but also is practical enough for the thinking part. Really awakens the senses for me.
