It combines medieval history with criticism of 19th-century British society. Carlyle wrote it in seven weeks as a respite from the harassing labor of writing Cromwell. The optometrist and ophthalmology professions give up on our vision without trying, assuming that vision is just a physical matter of optics, that cannot be improved. Liberman has spent a career disproving that assumption. Liberman has a definite talent for presenting technical information in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner. This book offers a great alternative for those seeking to correct their vision through natural means.
