I love this book. I haven't even finished it, but just using some of the initial tips has made a difference. The idea is that if you take care of yourself, everything else will fall into place. I didn't expect a whole lot other than feeling better, but I'm somehow down 10 pounds in the last couple months after decluttering my house and schedule and taking more time to do things I enjoy. I wouldn't have thought general baseline life stress would have that much of an impact. I've noticed I eat less, but I wasn't making a concerted dieting effort. We'll see if it lasts (and if I find time to finish the book and the rest of the steps).

Tuma-Young is a thoughtful author who is experienced in managing the spirit as well as the body. She gives direction to why we need to exercise and be mindful of what we eat. A good read.
