what we know now about his death that we have not known in the past

Since then, we have published three books reporting what we have discovered - Assassination Science (1998), Murder in Dealey Plaza (2000), and The Great Zapruder Film Hoax (2003) - I have chaired or co-chaired four national meetings on this subject and produced a documentary on it.

Murder in Dealey Plaza book. As he points out in his Preface "during the past decade-especially since 1992-enormous advances have been made in unravelling one of the greatest crimes of our time.

Murder in Dealey Plaza is a deeply disturbing book which documents the deceit and deception that marked the government's handling of the evidence in the Kennedy assassination. The authors, all highly skilled professionals, describe the cover-up, from the falsification of the autopsy results to the alteration of the Zapruder film. Anyone who reads this work will be appalled by the systematic distortion of the truth-that JFK died as the result of a conspiracy-by certain officials of the . Michael L. Kurtz, author of Crime of the Century.

Fetzer's membership on the ARRB lends expertise in assessing the 60,000 government documents released between 1993-1998, relating to JFK's assassination. This is not a book for the novice reader of JFK's investigation. Jim Marrs' CROSSFIRE would better serve to orient the reader to the broad spectrum of assassination research. To seasoned readers Fetzer's compilation of articles by several investigators scrutinizing specific aspects of the assassination and its aftermath, this book contains highly documented, thoughtful and persuasive articles, among which are a timeline, the crime scene, the medical evidence, the manipulated Zapruder film and ruminations regarding the role of historians and the media. Unlike many assassination theories that depend on hearsay and questionable witnesses to further their theories, the topics covered in this book leave little doubt that individuals in several agencies of the US Government conspired to cover up the facts of the assassination and blame Oswald for the entire matter. After reading the book, one must conclude that Oswald's culpability is in serious doubt.

I am still going through the chapters but found this book fascinating. Lots of new info in here. I have read several books on the JFK assassination, including Crossfire, Best Evidence, the Mark Lane books, and both Robert Groden books and have been to Dealey Plaza myself. But, I found new info in here that was still surprising and startling.

My only gripe is that the first copy I got had two scratches (box cutter marks) on the face and a tear in the back cover. I returned it. The replacement book had the same two cuts/scratches (box cutter marks) on the face. I almost returned it but decided to live with it, but was surprised that a FBA book by Amazon was not in new condition on arrival (twice). I suggest that the author check into this and I can provide a scanned image of the 2nd one if he would like to see what I am describing.

Anyway, a fluke I hope and I still highly recommend this book to all interested readers.

Outstanding!
I wish I had read this when it was first published. The art of critical thinking at it's best, if you have an open mind and are willing to follow the evidence and data. Completely applicable for even today's current events.

James H. Fetzer exposes all the altered or destroyed evidence in the murder of JFK (the replacement of the windshield of the presidential limousine, the autopsy and the photographs of the body, the alteration of the Zapruder film), the silencing and strange death of witnesses and the still exceptional resistance of the government to open their secret files. As G. Orwell said: `Who controls the present, controls the past.'

For the author, the only hypothesis withstanding the impact of these new findings is that of a large-scale conspiracy, a coup d'Etat by Lyndon Johnson, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the intelligence community and the military industrial complex, because `neither the Mafia, pro- or contra Cubans, or the KGB could have extended their reach into Bethseda Naval Hospital to fabricate X-rays, substitute another brain of that of JFK, or subject the Zapruder film to extensive alteration in order to mislead and confuse further investigations and to impose a permanent falsification of history.'

He makes the hypothesis that Lee Harvey Oswald was all alone responsible for the death of JFK completely ridiculous.

He shows the baffling cowardice of the professional historians, who are afraid of research into one of the most important events in world history given its national and international consequences, and depicts the guild of journalists as the `most amateur of professions'.

All in all, J. Fetzer's book brushes a very bleak picture of a country run by its intelligence agencies, which accept democracy only if the outcome of `free' elections corresponds to their particular interests.

A must read for all those interested in the past, the present and the future of mankind.

I am addicted to books about the conspiracy to murder JFK. I think LBJ was in charge of the plot. This is one of the better books on facts behind the assassination.

Good read, good science. Fetzer is a powerful writer.

The mountain of evidence FOR a conspiracy, both in the actual murder and the later coverup has been synthesized in a most concise way, that anyone reading this book can easily see how ludicrous the lone assassin story was. Anyone who still professes to believe the Warren Omission's lone gunman fiction is either dishonest, an imbecile or has something to hide. This book demonstrates again and again, why almost every aspect of the case as set forth in the Warren report was a massive fraud on the public.
This and Fetzer's previous work Assassination Science are MUST READING for all Americans (who can read). Having read dozens of books on the subject over the past 15 years, this latest work is by far the most outstanding. Logical, concise and well-written. The puzzle pieces continue to fall into place. Although all the pieces will never be found, enough have been put together to see the picture quite clearly.
This book is an outstanding contribution. The sections on smoking guns and the Zapruder film doctoring are amazing. It seems difficult to believe that Oswald would even be convicted given the new ground touched on in this volume. The cover up was massive in scope and scale yet I find it interesting that there has not been anyone admitting complicity. I highly recommend this book and believe it is a shame that such a whitewash occurred to the American people and the world at large.
