Warrior does a very good using examples to explain Roman religion. Especially for someone who is new to this area of history. It isn't overwhelming with details, but it has enough to get the main points across. A very well rounded, basic book on Roman religion and good basis point for anyone looking to understand it.

I found the selection to be good and the translations accessible. I think this is a very helpful book on the subject. Highly recommended.
