It really strikes a balance by not being too advanced for the beginner nor too slow for the more advanced hobbyist. The illustrations are superb and the writing is fun and never takes itself too seriously. Above all, the author really does a great job giving enough information so that the entire process can be understood. I cannot recommend this or any of Joseph's other books highly enough! Now if we could just get him to write a series on Motorcycle restoration.
