As a former crew member of VS-41 in San Diego, this was a very personal buy for me. The great pictures of the S-3 bring back so many wonderful memories of the friends I made in the squadron, and the endless questions I had to my friends (both officer and enlisted) about the mighty War-Hoover. It has a place of honor in my collection.

With the details provided in this book you can build and modify your model more realistic than everybody in the world, but I suggest you to select 1/48 rather than 1/72 which is too small.
