I think I now own ALL of Christopher Lowell's books and this (as the others) is going to be forever in my reference library. The ideas that he sparks are priceless, and this book is specifically geared to decorating with easy to get, inexpensive items from local discount stores, or ikea. There is nothing in it that is complicated to take on as a project, and he makes it easy to feel comfortable creating a very personally decorated space even when you are *do-it-yourself* challenged. I miss his television program but this collection of books with always be by my side when I decide to take on re-decorating any room in my house.

I was addicted to Christopher's television show from the moment it came out because I was 'You can do it!' for years before he hit the airways. His encouraging attitude kept me going more times than I care to count. As a single mother my budget was severly limited but I could sew, paint, and I had power tools so I did it! This book is just like a group of episodes. Miss you Christopher!
