Not one of Anna's better books but is still enjoyable and easy to read. A heartfelt story about infidelity, bereavement, illness and love which eventually binds a fragmented family together. I started out not liking the writing style, but the characters are sharply defined and the story lines gripped me so much that I finished it much too sooner than expected. Laura's husband is unexpectedly killed in a car accident while on holiday,
and his exploits are soon uncovered. Beware you leave no skeletons in the closet! Laura returns home to take care of her sick mother whom she does not particularly like and resolve old problems so she can move on with her life.
