Have you ever thought about how dealers get their product? How about how much money dealers are really making? What constitutes as a kingpin? What about this, why the dealers never give back to their community? Picture this...

Late 1970s and early 1980s, the ghetto is swarming with drugs and violence. Tyrell Nobles is striving to make his life count. With the advice of his sister Tonya and his cousins' best friend, Hulk, Tyrell does what only any black kid in the ghetto does, hustle. While staking dough with Mikel and Stink, Tyrell understands that his cousins' are using their money for the fame and fashion and not education. Determined not to follow in their footsteps, Hulk hips Tyrell into the game of the Government and giving back to the community that Tyrell will always call home.

On another side of town...

Ronomy cannot get the thought of his brother's Sharrod's brutal murder out of his head. Not caring about the outcome of his life, he is determined to locate his brother's killers and make them pay. With the flux of the law and circumstance, Ronomy must fight his demons and make his way back to the outside world. His friend and mate, Hulk, gives him the advice and hookup that soon lands Ronomy back on the grind and once again in the stream to get vengeance on a decade long search.

The connection...

Tyrell has become one of Washington's must sought after attorney. Not forgetting where he as come from, Ty establishing a plan to steal from the rich and give to the poor.

Ronomy is forever grateful of Hulk and his hookup. He does what he has to do to pay back what he considers a hustler's debt.

Ty and Ronomy hold down one the biggest drug cartel in U.S. history. As they use the strength of hustle and knowledge, the ghetto is turning over a new leaf and backslides are not permitted.

I love Isadore Johnson's technique. He is one of, if not the first, to stand up and make hustlers not out to be straight dummies. Why not use their money for more than women, guns and jewelry? Why not give back to the hood that they came from? Isadore made a good point, "upgrade conditions in the urban areas and create ways out for minorities so that we're no longer victims. Our current condition is in the basement. And our mentalities are in an even lower state - especially that of a hustler."

I read Drug Dealer 1&2 about 3-5 years ago when the book came out. Well let me tell you if you really want a page turning book this is the book to get. It gives you an insite on how the drugs are being brought into the states. Drug Dealer is a number one saler in my eyes. Isadore Johnson should make a movie out of it. If you didn't read it get it you will like it or love it, but those that don't keep your thoughts to yourself. The book is very good the drug dealers in the book are real ones the ones on the street and in the hoods are penny hustlers. They should read the book and see how its done and make it work for them and not allow the money control how they live.

IT IS AMAZING. ONCE YOU START READING THE BOOK IT HAS YOU. I ENJOYED BOOK ONE ONCE I FINISHED I COULD NOT WAIT AND JUMP RIGHT INTO THE SECOND BOOK. YOU KNOW IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT WHAT IS WRITTEN ITS TRUE. GOVERNMENT AND DRUGS. WHAT WE DONT'T KNOW ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS IN THEIR WORLD. THE BOOK IS AMAZINGLY REAL TO LIFE. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING THE AUTHOR, AND I RAVED ABOUT THE BOOK HE WAS VERY HUMBLED AND APPRECIATIVE OF MY REVIEW TO HIM OF HIS BOOKS. A MUST READ.

On a visit to NYC I ran across the author in Harlem selling his book. I decided to purchase it. Mr. Johnson has certainly put together a creative tale but his writing leaves MUCH to be desired. I'm having a difficult time getting through Part I because the writing style is just...awful! It's almost as if the author isn't using an editor; as if he's just writing, flipping the middle finger to a rewrite and just putting the book out there. There are so many gaps in the text; I found a few misspellings, etc, etc. Regardless of how good the book might be, I can't see beyond the bad writing and lack of editing. I'm going to TRY HARD to continue reading these two books simply because I paid for them. But Isadore Johnson really needs to consider investing in an editor for all upcoming book projects.

This was a great book. I've always read about things of dealings of drugs, but to actually feel as if yo were right there, was thrilling. Keep it up Isadore. I met Isadore this weekend selling his new book, and I've already started it. Looks like he's done it again, it's just as graphic as Drug Dealer. I can say Mr. Johnson writes great books and he has a great disposition. Keep it coming Isadore.

As far as I am concerned the service I received was poor. My product was delivered and the packing slip said that both Drug Dealers (part 1&2) were in the package; however when it was received only Part 2 was there. When the person I bought it for contacted me and told me; I e-mailed the seller. It's been about a month and I still haven't heard anything back from the seller and they have my payment. Poor service. I have spent money and received part of my shipment. That's terrible.
