No One's Girl is an excellent read, it kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how it was going to end! It's a story about a young girl who finds herself homeless and in an orphanage, despairing that she will ever be wanted anywhere. Her nature attracts most people to her, but there is one woman who does not like her, and she bides her time until she finds a way to actively do her harm. No-one else suspects, and for a time it looks like this poor girl will never have happiness or find a family who could love and care for her. Not only does it bring tears of sadness, but also tears of joy for her, and those around her. There's a twist in the story, and love defeats in the end.
This story is set back in the 60's in England. It was hard to read the dialect. It was a good story plot ,but seemed to drag out.
Another Rosie Goodwin page turner, a real tear jerker of a story. Our little group of readers will love this book.
A very good read with a lot of twists and turns to the tale. A sad and sometimes tearful story.

Ms Goodwin is a great storyteller. Her characters are so believable; they really get under your skin. You can't help but get emotionally involved with them.
It was also enjoyable to read a novel based in and around my home town of Nuneaton, it added to my enjoyment of the book.
This is the first Rosie Goodwin novel I've read, but I will certainly be reading more.
