When I had kids she passed it on to me, and I plan on passing it on to my kids when they have children of their own. The illustrations in this book fascinated me as a child and they still do today! Children are attracted to the illustrations and, as a result, are drawn into the story. They want to read it over and over again!

I absolutely loved the illustrations with giant buildings portrayed as yummy foods - ice layered cakes and whipped cream. Very good book to discuss the topic of sharing and greediness.
