In the early years of his career he studied at the University of Vienna and taught at the Peoples Institute (University of Vienna Extension). There he participated in the famous Vienna Circle of philosophers. Feyerabend was professor of philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. Grover Maxwell was professor of philosophy at the University of Minnesota.
