No cream of mushroom soup here; all ingredients are fresh, and the recipes are pretty easy; most can be completed in about an hour, start to finish. The two chapters at the back of the book give instructions for cooking methods and techniques and also the author's recommendations for utensils and appliances.

Bought this book to go with the other one, Fresh Food Fast, and we LOVE it. The recipes are simple, and delicious. One of the best things I like about this book is the enthusiasm that my husband has for the foods in here. if we are we have those books! These are healthy, flavorful, easy recipes that make putting dinner on the table every night a pleasure. I don't use the pre-chopped items that are called for in some of the recipes, I just chop it myself.
