Much of the book is written by Sid himself, describing his life experiences. During the book many things happened. It was all about Sid Collins, which was very interesting to read about his life. Sid Collins became the WIBC radio announcer. He witnessed a death at the Indy 500. Sid did the 4 1/2 hour broadcast on the Indianapolis 500 located at Indianapolis Indiana.

Richard Mercer Dorson (March 12, 1916 – September 11, 1981) was an American folklorist, author, professor, and director of the Folklore Institute at Indiana University. Dorson was born in New York City. He studied at the Phillips Exeter Academy from 1929 to 1933. He then went on to Harvard University where he earned his . in history, and his P. degree in the History of American Civilization in 1942. He began teaching as an instructor of history at Harvard in 1943.
Cold racing tires + 9am cool track + Indy rookie + red mist spin. I drove my 2007 Cayman S on the street for the last time today coming back from a time attack at Button Willow. The guy had lined up early and was one of the first out on the track. He might have felt he needed to "lead" the others and got too bold. I've decided I want to race and the car will be on the trailer tomorrow to get a proper roll cage and other mods to race in POC's GT3 or GT2 class.
