Exactly what the title suggests.

Very informative. Clarified many subjects which have been covered in other classes, but much more detail. Would definitely encourage anyone who is working with students with exceptional needs to purchase this book.

Very informative textbook, but as it is a textbook it is a bit dry reading. I will keep this book as a reference for future use!

I would recommend this book to anyone who is considering studying Special Education, in the area of Moderate to Severe.

I've had to buy this book twice. I go to UNC Charlotte and both of the professors who wrote the book made it required reading for their class. One class is systematic instruction and the other one had something to do with curriculum. The book is fine. I didn't learn too much since I have been teaching EC for years and I have a Master's in Disability Counseling and Advocacy. I was irritated I had to buy it twice for two fairly different course structures. The book loses one star for the facetiousness of pushing your own book as required reading. The information would be helpful to someone new to this field and in my first class we actually used the text.
Great book.
