The section on Jewish culture and religion is highly inaccurate. The author demonstrates incompetence and seeming anti-Semitic attitudes. I would not purchase another book from this author.

This book has the potential to be good. It is quite wordy for someone new to Counseling Studies. It doesn't break down the bottom line of each chapter and some of the exercises that are included could not be completed because of a lack of understanding (of the material).

It is one of those books you have to read and re-read for better understanding.

Same as described
The book was readable, but very dirty and flimsy. I had to clean it up. I was not happy about the condition. However, I will still be using it.
