This text offers a description and analysis of the central developments and controversies in European mental health systems, from 1980 to the present day.

To mark World Mental Health Day 2019, Mental Health Europe hosted an event in the European Parliament that brought together members of for Mental Health & Wellbeing and key stakeholders.
