This is a great book to help with not only basic grammar in writing but also for writing format. It's laid out very clear and is easy to find information you need. It covers comma splices, punctuation and more.

This was a required textbook for an English class I took, but I used it for some of my other classes. I don't like to keep my textbooks since they just take up space but this is a keeper.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't like the eText Access Card. I am tech savvy but I do not see what the point is for this. There are some videos but that is about it. Seems like a waste of money to me.

This is perfect for the beginner writer or anyone in college (or high school for that matter). I bought this for a Writing class and I am pleased to have decided to keep it for all my future classes.
