Frater Yechidah has helped to remedy that situation with his book Enochian Magic in Theory. His summary of the history of Dee and Kelly's workings is very well-done; and his insights into their strange, often puzzling relationship over the years are fascinating. I found the descriptions of acoutrements of the system some of the best I've seen in print.

Ancient Christian Magic This thought-provoking collection of magical texts from ancient Egypt shows the exotic rituals, esoteric healing practices, and incantatory and supernatural dimensions that flowered in early Christianity. These remarkable Christian magical texts include curses, spells of protection from "headless powers" and evil spirits, spells invoking thunderous powers, descriptions of fire baptism, and even recipes from a magical "cookbook

Frater Yechidah also provides us with some example rituals-such as openings for both the Sigillum Dei Aemeth and the Great Table, the invocation of Heptarchic and Watchtower angels, skrying the Aethyrs/Parts of the Earth, and several sample records of astral visionary experiences. The author even explores the rarely-mentioned Gebofal operation-the opening of the 48 Gates of Heaven. Compared to other theories of magic, Enochian magic is often considered . Enochian Initiation: A Thelemite's Magical Journey into the Ultimate Transcendence Denver, CO: Outskirts press Inc, 2006.

Compared to other theories of magic, Enochian magic is often considered strikingly complex and difficult to grasp in its entirety. One of the difficulties is that many of the source documents are missing, and those that exist are sometimes fragmentary, due to the history of dispersal of Dee's library and manuscripts. Latest theories include that John Dee knew of the Slavonic Book of the Secrets of Enoch, as well as the Ethiopic Book of Enoch.

The first of Frater Yechidah's eagerly awaited Enochian Magic series, detailing John Dee and Edward Kelley's magical system in extraordinary detail, from the Heptarchic system to Enochian proper. Yechidah provides a unique mix of thorough research with his own experience and understanding from using the system for many years, resulting in a book that is both scholarly and insightful. He explores the history behind the famous magician and seer, shows how the system was delivered, explains why it is such a powerful magical tool, and answers many of the questions that people have asked about the nature of the angelic beings. Gain an indepth knowledge of Enochian magic. Learn how to derive the names of angels from the various tablets. Discover the purpose of the tools. Ponder the mysteries of the more obscure parts of the system, with Yechidah's suggestions for what they might mean. This tome provides a comprehensive overview of the Enochian system for both scholars and magicians, with excerpts from Dee's diaries and insights from a number of Enochian magicians over the last century. Enochian Magic in Theory is the first of a two part series on Dee's angelic system, with Enochian Magic in Practice providing the practical instructions for how to put the magic into use.

I have to say, there just doesn't seem to be as much interest in Enochian magic(k) these days as there was 8 - 10 years ago. I'm not entirely sure why this is, but I suspect that it has something to do with the enormity (and difficulty) of the Enochian system itself. Perhaps magic(k)ians today are just 'put-off' by its complexity.

Frater Yechidah has helped to remedy that situation with his book Enochian Magic in Theory. He has taken this intimidating system of theurgy and made it accessible for those today who wish to learn more than what can be found in the current magic(k)al self-help books (Kraig and Cicero, etc.).

His summary of the history of Dee and Kelly's workings is very well-done; and his insights into their strange, often puzzling relationship over the years are fascinating.

I found the descriptions of acoutrements of the system some of the best I've seen in print. I love the way F. Yechidah incorporates the work of Benjamin Rowe, as well as his own experiences in the OSDL. One thing is for sure, Dean definitely knows what he is talking about.

If this book doesn't engender a new interest in the 'Angelic' magic(k) I would be very surprised.

Buy this book; I can (almost) guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

I am incredibly grateful that this book was published; without it, I would not have been able to appreciate the spiral nature of the Bonorum angels and the derivation of the names of their Ministers. Also much appreciated was the inclusion of the Heptagonum Stellare. All of the explanations for the derivation of the angel names from the tables was clear and nicely-presented. I can't wait for the publication of the sequel.

This book is the keystone capping the arch of my favorite books on Enochian magic, answering questions and filling in blanks left by such excellent works as Enochian Vision Magick by DuQuette, The Enochian Vision Magick of Dr. John Dee by James, and Mastering the Mystical Heptarchy by Stenwick. These books have launched me on a satisfying exploration of the Tabula Collecta and the Aethyrs. Thanks to the good advice given by Wilson and these authors, I have been able to work with this system without the aggravating energy overload or hangover I used to experience. I've built the entire temple as closely to spec as I could, and was also inspired to create additional tools such as Bonorum tiles engraved in marble or granite to place my feet upon during invocations. I am getting much better results now than I used to get, after having been fascinated by this system for 13 years (with startling and harsh results at first).

Thank you so much to all of these writers and practitioners for your clear presentation of the extremely complex Enochian material. You have done an immense service to the magical community. You'll never know how much your careful work has meant to me, and I hope others benefit as well.

Great Work!

For anyone interested in a great theoretical work on the Enochian sequence this is a good place to start. I have experienced that the Enochian sequences of sounds and symbols could be from other humans in the Universe revealed through Dr. Dee and Kelly practicing clairvoyant ways to receive the system. For example, I experienced similar experiences likened to others on forums of Alien type worlds, machines, and beings. Practicing the sequence produced influxs of intelligence that out of no where drove me into finding easy ways of trying to merge scientific theory to spirituality. I believe that this system has something more to offer humans than just it being a magical system I have personally found atomic sequences embedded within it and other marvelous things. I would encourage anyone beginning this book to take it as a grain of sand because the doors to other dimensions, races, intelligences, and worlds will open up at a trememdous pace. This book has been very good in teaching me basics on Enochian and think its an excellent scholarly work.

Thank you,
