Bride of shadow canyon.

Bride Of Shadow Canyon Mass Market Paperback – March 27, 2007. I just finished Stacey Kayne's "Wild" series and all three books were wonderful! I was really sad to see them come to an end but pushed aside my grieving :) to begin her other series starting with "Bride of Shadow Canyon". by. Stacey Kayne (Author). I couldn't believe how good this book was. I had high expectations and was sure I'd be in for a letdown after three other amazing books, but Stacey Kayne does not disappoint! She does a fabulous job at really creating relationships between the reader and character.

This book has it all and is so well written that it was hard to put it down. Read another reviewer who said if you love romance, this was the book to read. How very true that was. A spunky heroine, a must-have hero, and an author who can capture a feeling of romance like very few can, easily makes this a 5 star rating book. Bravo Stacy Kayne! Please start writing again !!!

What was not to like. Jed was to me the epitome of the real cowboy and scared to accept love in case it would not last. She was hankering to be loved and fought for him all the way. This author clearly has a most amazing way with words and spinning the story. The dialogue is a delight and for the absolute best is that none of her books have any crudeness when describing the passion the lovers enjoy and no swearing... I anxiously await her next book. Highly recommended

She does a fabulous job at really creating relationships between the reader and character. I loved everything about both Jed and Rachell in this story! The part I found especially refreshing was that the two main characters actually communicated with each other from very early on. Yippee! Seems like so many romance novels wait until the last pages for open dialogue between man and woman. I must admit, Jed had me pining for him from the first time I met him. A real man in every sense of the word. Now, if only I could find him in the real world....and what would my husband say? :)

The whole "forced marriage" thing is rife with potential for an interesting, compelling plot, but the forced marriage between the H & h of this book is patently, ridiculously unbelievable -- a judge arbitrarily says they have to get married, and they go along with it. The heroine spends all her time pissed off at the hero, who has traveled a long distance in order to "rescue" her. You'd think she'd be grateful. I never did understand why she was so angry and resentful -- was this an attempt to create tension between the two main characters? Although in all fairness I confess I only got to about page 100 before I realized the characters and plot were getting nowhere I was interested in going, and I quit reading.

This is the second book I've read by this author, and it's just as good as the first. Kayne is obviously talented. This book gets everything right - great plot, interesting page-turning action, good character development, plausible characters, and a great romance with plenty of sparks. Kayne's writing is easy to read and has a good mix of narration and dialogue that paints a vivid picture without bogging the reader down. I'll be reading more of this author's works for sure.

Dude review: Having read the mustang series, I instantly became a fan of Stacey, but because of my personal preferences I was a little hesitant to pick this up, and I instantly regretted my decision! Great action, drama, romance, love scenes, it's got it all and the right amount of everything. The reason why Stacey is set apart from most other authors is simple, she writes a story with depth and believability. She'll make you love each character. My only regret is that this book is a standalone (i think) and I wish it'd be a daggom series so i can keep enjoying all the characters in further detail. This one's a keeper and will guaranteed be re-read.
