I bought this used on amazon, it came to my house with the binding not attached to the paper anymore. The hardcover was completely separate (I got a refund).. apart from that shipping mess I do like the books visuals and it will be a good reference tool. Nice big book as well

I was puzzled by some missing words in one of the first pages, as though careless editors slept through the initial pages.

I found my first copy at a close-out sale in Key West. Since then I have obtained two more copies. I have these in my patient rooms in the office where they are quite useful in patient education. The patients enjoy looking through them on days where I am running behind. The pictures and diagrams are excellent. This is a very large book, and you need a large surface on which to open it.

We use iall the time to check what hurts - or doesn't - and to decipher Doctor's descriptions. I sent one to a friend's daughter in Nursing school. Most books this thorough sell for a lot more.
