Had an issue with my order and they corrected it no questions asked. I'd order from them again. And it's a small book full of knowledge.

publish awhile back and material shows it. Was looking for something that would help towards identifying plants in New England and survival type training at scout level. Really wasn't helpful.

Should have read the reviews before I purchased. This book is great if you live in the northwest united states.
great ant
I absolutely love this book! To note- It's focused on berries of the Pacific Northwest (although many of these plants might be in other areas). I've had this book since I was a kid, when our family used to bring it on hikes with us (I have notes from a hike to Heather Lake, where we identified and ate 8 berries from this book.). It's a small, lightweight book, and has a lot of berries (42), each with their own page and color photo. The book is old, written in 1974, but I don't think suffers a bit for it, and to me, adds to it's charm. It has a handful of recipes, too- Oregon Grape/Apple Juice, Fruit Leather, Rose Hip Puree, Unbaked Blackberry Pie. And of course- You'll learn how to identify the three different types of blackberries in this area (only one type of which is native). Get it, and enjoy foraging!
