The author provides an accessible introduction to game theory, complete with relatable situations. I was particularly amused by the game involving a conflict between "Arbusto" and "Saddam," involving the balance between starting an expensive war versus the possibility of locating weapons of mass destruction.

I should note, however, that although the concept of Nash equilibrium is often evoked, it is not explained in sufficient detail, especially with regard to its mathematical underpinnings. For a well-motivated and easy to understand derivation of Nash equilibrium, I recommend the book by L. C. Thomas Games, Theory and Applications (Dover Books on Mathematics).
