The negative review is caused only by the bad ink used in this print.
I have not read the whole book and it is probably as good as others have said.
The print in the books that I received however is very bad. It leaves a smudge on my fingers
when touching the text. The ink and paper reminds me of a newspaper. I have not seen this in any book that I own.
I do not expect books to have the most expensive paper and ink but at least the ink should not leave a smudge every time you touch the page.
For this reason I recommend that you purchase a different copy - not these ones, printed in India.

This book published in 1969 joined Vol.1, published in 1967, in my library. A fortunate purchase in 2010 (new, not used, and I think I wrote a first review), as I way back in the 1980s did not buy Vol. 2 and did not think any much about the author until I found his name on amazon.com on a library computer and found Vol. 2 still available. Great, as I appreciate the author'' s in depth text and especially proofs.in both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, each covering approx. 670 pages. Never mind modern computer maths have come and made these books somewhat old-fashioned. They are still useful.

The book is very nice but the print quality is rather poor.

The electronic version of this text book is terrible, and the app Yuzu that you are required to use is not at all practical for textbooks. If I had known it was this terrible, I would have never purchased the online version. Fix it.
