Irene Higginbotham (1918-1988) was a songwriter and pianist, and joined the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) in 1944. Ervin Drake (1919-2015) songwriter was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1983 after joining the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) in 1958.
