Mary Higgins Clark never fails to excite. I finished the book of over 300 pages in 2 days- over half in a few hours. I got frustrated with Lace Farrell. It was great that she made a copy of a the diary her friend had before she handed it to the police. I loved the plot and I could not put the book down. However, I don’t think it was smart of her to not trust the protection program to keep her safe. Therefore, she decides to leave because of her mother may have said something about her hiding or a hint to where she could of been that gave the killer a chance to reach to her before her hearing.

Mary Higgins Clark is a great writer of mysteries with a suspenseful twist. I got my first Kindle soon after they first came out. Then I upgraded to a Kindle Fire. The last thing I do before going on a trip is to find a Mary Higgins Clark book that I haven't read. It still fascinates me that I buy the Kindle edition of the book on Amazon.com and then in a matter of minutes it appears on my Kindle.

The Kindle is easy to read and you can make the print bigger or smaller. It's great that it's lit so I can read and not disturb my husband. What more could you want. A great book and a great way to read it!!

Great content, seamless flow, Mary Higgins Clark never disappoints. This one and Loves Music Loves to Dance have needed a kindle version in my house because the paperbacks have no more spines left. If you want a go-to cozy mystery, this is my top pick.

My first Mary Higgins Clark book I ever read when I was in high school and I loved it, I couldn't put the book down then, it was that good. Years later I made sure I bought a hardcover of this book and can't wait to read this story all over again, definitely worth the money

MHC is always good but this one was a little too unbelievable for me. Her books are usually stories you could think might actually happen but this one was too far out.

The story builds its tension perfectly. Great characters, great story line. I was thoroughly entertained, just what a good book should do. No wonder they call MHC a master; she is indeed a master storyteller.

Wow! I read this book in less than three days. I couldn't put it down. It was exciting and the characters were realistic. I absolutely loved this book. I stayed up half the night to finish the book. I highly recommend this book to everyone who enjoys a page turner.

I'm addicting to MHC's books. You won't be disappointed with this one either. Fast read and enjoyable. Like the fact that the language is clean and not foul. Thank you for that. I can let g'kids read and not be wondering if the language is offensive.
This book kept me riveted! And for once, one of the characters that I thought was guilty, wasn't! I had most of them right, but had too many in this case! Lol
