If anyone remembers the movie "Scanners" you can get into the story of Psi/Net. The story is kind of slow moving but I was always wondering how the story would turn out. No major action happens until near the end of the book. This reads more like a PG rated movie. Jedi mind tricks Mr. Williams? I'll buy the sequel to Psi/Net.

I once learned that 'good' science fiction idea required a minimum amount of suspension of present beliefs, and the closer a tale is written to the present the smaller that amount should be. Here we have a book with one 'change' thought though to a logical conclusion and surrounded with an interesting plot. I found the characters to be a little flat - either all good or all bad, but oddly some of the minor characters seemed to most real, such as Matt, the teenager in one of the Militias and his girlfriend. His uncertainty about so many things rang very true.

I bought this as part of a StoryBundle package and plan to buy the second novel soon.

This book was filled with grammatical errors throughout, sometimes the characters' names were misspelled, along with other issues regarding syntax. All this interrupted the flow of the text, and was frustrating, to say the least.
Once I got past the above mentioned though, I did enjoy the book, even though I do not usually read this type of book. I initially bought it simply because I am a fan of Billy Dee Williams. It took a little while for the plot to thicken, but became a page turner from the middle to the end.
Now that the characters are familiar, I look forward to reading the sequel; or is it next in a series?

A novel set in contemporary America dealing with Radical milita groups and psychic spying. I read this book in an afternoon. I didn't find it particulary deep or ground breaking.
The plot - save the president of the usa - therefore save the world - is not particulary new. I've seen it in countless movies and thriller novels before.
The novel's characters aren't badly written, but not terribly involving either. I can't say I'd be bothered if I never picked up this book again, but I also finished it quickly which proves it's not too bad. Enjoy this book, but don't expect a how-to psycic manual or anything too original.

i am not a believer of remoteviewing. however, the authorswere able to make the subjectmatter believable. the characers were truly believable. i found myself becoming more invovled as the plot thickened. this novel has truly hightened my curiousity on the matter. the only thing i could find wrong was whentrent and ritter come to blowsit could have been juicier

This book has now become my favorite book out of everything I have read. The book has tons of thrills and foreshadowing in it to make it so you never want to put it down. The worst thing about this book was finishing it, it was such a good book I was sad when I finished it. I hope another book with the same characters or plotline comes out soon!
