This book is primarily written for users who are new to servers and trying to go through the process of setting up a server for the first time. It amounts to a series of screen shots of all of the wizards and little more. If you are looking for a book to provide details on advanced use of this product or how to troubleshoot issues that occur, this book will not help.

I bought this book in hopes that it would provide answers to problems I was having with the wizards. Google was not helpful at the time because the product has not been out that long. I ended up finding my own solutions and workarounds to the issues as this book told me nothing that I couldn't figure out with a quick glance at the screen that was in front of me anyway.

As another review noted, this book may be most helpful for users who are relatively new to servers and setting up a server for the first (or second) time. There are many screenshots. However, it also includes much explanation of the screenshots and much explanation of related issues.

I am converting from Windows 2003 Server to SBS 2011 Essentials and found this book very helpful. I recommend it for the beginning to intermediate server user.

If you need an installation guide, this book is a very good step-by-step presentation. If you want to, or need to know anything indepth, or need troubleshooting tips, you need to look somewhere else.

Only very basic information, even less than the help screens in the software. It is not a useful reference manual.

General content and limited navigation with no search features make this book hard to use with the software. Great format if you just want to read about the software. Buy a hard copy if you are going to use it with a server.

Review it yourself, as I hate being forced to review it before bing able to read it.
